Youth Takes Initiative: Against Bullying” is a training course which brought 29 youth workers, and leaders from 8 different countries together to get enough knowledge about ‘cyberbullying’; to learn how European Institutions are tackling it and creating tools (e-books, videos etc.) for youth workers for preventing bullying and being marginalized of young people. Instead of being afraid of ICTs, we would like to support the skills of youth workers and leaders to be conscious users. Diyarbakir, Turkey the 1-9th October 2019.
Aims and objectives: – To learn/discuss different definitions of cyber-bullying and increase awareness on what is bullying and what is not (according to perspectives of youth workers and European Institutions), – To train youth workers on human rights, the inclusion of bullying in them and the priorities of the European Union and the Council of Europe, – To develop critical thinking regarding the information on this phenomenon and to understand how ICTs affect young people/children in our societies,
